卫敏教授2001年于北京大学获理学博士学位，同年加入北京化工大学工作。2008年佐治亚理工学院访问学者。课题组长期从事二维插层化学与功能材料研究，已发展成为北京化工大学的特色研究方向，取得了一系列重要研究成果。卫敏教授领导的研究团队，历经17年的建设，已发展成为凝聚力强、开拓进取、活跃在国际二维插层化学前沿领域的一支生力军。近五年课题组在Nature Commun.、Chem、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Adv. Mater.等刊物发表SCI收录研究论文150余篇。发表论文他引8200余次。多次受邀为国际知名期刊撰写综述文章，作为共同卷主编为Struct. Bond.编辑第166卷。课题组在二维插层化学和功能材料领域的研究工作，引起了国际同行的广泛关注和高度评价。课题组提出了“有机-无机杂化量子阱”、“二维限域荧光增强”、“层状前体拓扑转变”等概念，研究工作多次被NatureChina、RSC Chemistry Today、Wiley Materials Views China (MVC)、Advanced Science News、RSC Blog、X-MOL及材料人等学术媒介选“Research Highlight”和“Hot Article”进行报道和评述。课题组申请国家发明专利50余件（已获授权30余件），构筑了自主知识产权体系。

课题组紧密围绕国际学术研究前沿，结合国民经济发展的实际需求，承担了一批基础研究和应用基础研究项目，包括国家自然科学基金重点项目、973计划项目、863计划项目、国家重点研发计划课题、企业委托科技项目等。课题组成员长期扎根教学科研一线，爱岗敬业，潜心教书育人。高度重视研究生培养质量和水平，在长期工作中形成了系统的教学和育人方法，因材施教，因人施教。近年来培养的研究生，获得唐敖庆奖学金7人次，北京化工大学校长奖学金4人次，国家奖学金18人次。培养博士毕业生20余人，硕士毕业生50余人；毕业生进入北京师范大学、北京化工大学、北京工业大学、南方科技大学、河北师范大学、中国科学院理化技术研究所、中国科学院过程工程研究所等高校和科研院所工作，以及中石油、中石化等知名企业任职，为国家输送了优秀的建设者和接班人。

卫敏教授获2012年国家杰出青年基金资助。以第一完成人获2015年中国石油和化学工业联合会科技进步一等奖。入选2017年度科技部中青年科技创新领军人才，同年入选国家百千万人才工程，被授予“有突出贡献中青年专家”称号。

Professor Wei Min received her PhD from Peking University in July 2001, after which she joined the staff of BUCT. She was promoted to full Professor in 2006. She was a visiting scholar in the Georgia Institute of Technology (in 2008). Her main research interests focus on: (1) intercalation chemistry of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) and inorganic functional materials; (2) new catalytic materials for energy and environmental science. In recent 17 years, Prof. Wei’s group has carried out systematic, in-depth fundamental research and applied study, aiming at two-dimensional intercalation chemistry and functional materials. They performed both experimental studies and calculational investigations on rational structure design, assembly methodology and structure-property correlation of LDHs materials. 

In recent five years, Prof. Wei’s group has published more than 150 research papers in journals including Nature Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., with citation number of more than 8200. She has been the co-editor for Structure and Bonding (2015, 166 volume). A number of her researches have been chosen as “Research Highlight” or “Hot Article” by NatureChina, RSC Chemistry Today, Wiley Materials Views China, J. Mater. Chem. Blog and ACS Noteworthy Chemistry. She has submitted more than 50 patent applications in China (30 were patented) and 2 USA patent. In 2012, she obtained the financial aid from the China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists of the NSFC.
